She walks 6 kilometers for water.
Walk it with her.
In rural Malawi, the average round trip to collect water is about 6 kilometers — nearly 4 miles, with 40 pounds of water on the way home. This month, walk her walk once, wherever you live. Then help repair the well that ends it for her whole village.
Three steps. One ended walk.
The same simple shape used by the world's most successful charity challenges — built on our existing secure giving platform.

Until then, logging is ten seconds: glance at your watch or phone, type the number. It's how the world's biggest challenge campaigns work today.
Your sponsors end her walk — permanently
Across rural Malawi, 35–40% of water pumps sit broken. The wells exist; they just don't work. Repairing one is radically cheaper than drilling one, and it's done free for the village by our partner Child Legacy International's Malawian repair teams.

Walk as a church, a class, a company
Teams make this sing: a congregation walking 6K together after Sunday service, a school walking at recess for a week, an office at lunch. Every team gets a shared page and a combined total — and a photo at the finish that belongs on a bulletin board.
Start a teamThe short FAQ
Do I have to walk it all at once?
No. One 6K walk or little pieces across the week — strollers, wheelchairs, treadmills, and dogs all welcome. The point is to feel the distance, not to race it. And if life happens and your 6K takes a month? There is always grace. Nobody here keeps score.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Registration is free. You raise what you raise — and every gift, any size, is doubled by the matching challenge.
Where exactly does the money go?
To water well repair in Malawi through Child Legacy International (their teams have restored 5,300+ pumps since 2008). Clean Water Climb's founder takes no fees and is fully self-funded. All donations are tax-deductible (EIN 93-4081451).
Is this an app?
It works like one — open it on your phone and choose "Add to Home Screen." No app store, no account, nothing to install or update.
